Select student choirs will accompany one of Broadway's most dynamic leading ladies at Lincoln Center. During this 4 day event, students will participate in masterclasses and rehearsals with industry veterans all leading up to a public concert at the iconic Lincoln Center. As a celebration of women in the arts, the evening will be dedicated to new female composers and playwrights. Frequently Asked Questions
Your group must have at least 10 performers and there is no maximum size.
A recording of your choir’s performance must be submitted with the application. Since the application will be submitted well in advance of the concert, the performers are not required to be the actual group that will come to New York to perform. The recording must not be more than one year old.
Groups will be accepted on a rolling basis. Applying early is encouraged as space is limited.
Student choirs will combine and be on stage with our headliners for at least half of our approximately 90 minute show. Sheet music and direction from our artistic team will be provided in the six months leading up to the concert.
The program cost including ground transportation, hotel, meals, classes/workshops, sightseeing and admissions and performance fees starts at approximately $2,000 per person.
Our choir will be approximately 175-200 people.
